AGROWINE is a result of a fruitful cooperation within several projects financed by regional and national funds and which have in common the final objective to receive technical assistance in the production and promotion of local products in compliance with EU standards.
The project aims to support the autochthonous wine-oenological and horticultural species depending on the specificity of the target territories of the initiative. This objective will be reached through the transfer of know-how of best-practices of the Friuli Venezia Giulia territory. The projects aims also to strengthen the rural tourism through the valorization of local products and territories of Istria Region and Osijek-Baranja County.
- improvement of autochthonous wine-oenological productions in the partner territories: vine for Istria Region and County of Osiek-Baranja, oil for Istria Region, pepper for the territory of Ruski Krstur in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina;
- transfer of scientific know-how and best practices in the wine-oenological, oil, fruit-growing and horticultural fields and in the touristic sector;
- support in the process of compliance with EU standard of production;
- strengthening of the cooperation among bodies and institutions of Region Friuli Venezia Giulia and project partners through study visits, workshops and conferences as well as in drafting new project proposals
